Balliol Farewell dinner
The convivial farewell dinner at Balliol College perfectly capped an awesome week of study and touring options. Our dinner was the best meal of the week topped off by a delightful dessert. The venue (inside and out) could not have been more beautiful.
I’m glad that our staff got us together for a stylish group photo on the steps.
I am also glad that various Ephs ’68 expressed appropriate gratitude to those who made this trip work and directed us forward to energetic 50th Reunion participation–but please, remind me not to get stuck in an elevator with Ned Perry!
(Editor’s Note: Class President Ned and Mark Robertson, Director of Williams 50th Reunion Program, were trapped in an elevator during a Williams event in Denver. Ned took full advantage of this frightening opportunity to convince Mark that the enthusiastic Class of 1968 deserved to increase the number of Oxford participants from years of 50 people max to at least 70 participants. Before the elevator door was pried open by first responders, Mark had agreed. The art of the squeal.)
