Spencer Beebe receives the Purple with Purpose award from Jack Phillips ’88, president of the Portland Regional Association. Spencer is the founder and Chair of Board of Directors of Ecotrust which, since 1991, has partnered with local communities from California to Alaska to build new ways of living and doing business. From forestry to finance, food access to green building, Ecotrust works to advance social equity, economic opportunity, and environmental well-being. Spencer’s long track record and many achievements in environmental preservation and protection are being given their due recognition.

As classmate Bob Gault looks on, Michael Yogman MD displays his Purple with Purpose award, given in recognition of his lifelong service to children and their families in the Boston area. In addition to his medical career, he has advocated for mental health screening and services for children and families and serves on a variety of nonprofit boards including serving as Chair of the Advisory Board of the Boston Children’s Museum.
