I found the three day Presidential Forum an excellent venue for understanding “The State of Williams” today. The array of topics, formats, and presenters was well balanced. The two forums with students provided valuable perspectives. President Falk was very generous with his time and openness to addressing any issue raised. I left with the feeling that the College is well managed, the students are having a very rich array of educational experiences, and “Mark Hopkins on one end of a log and a student on the other” is still the central mission of the College. It was a very worthwhile weekend that I encourage the College to continue.
